CUSTOM SCREEN PRINTING
INK THAT MAKES YOU THINK
What is Screen Printing?
Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired image. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A fill blade or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate during the squeegee stroke. Basically, it is the process of using a mesh-based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate, whether it be t-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or other material.

Benefits
Screen printing is the best option for designs that require a high level of vibrancy, when printing on dark shirts, or specialty products. The ink in screen printing is applied thicker than digital printing, which results in brighter colors even on darker colored shirts. With a numerous amount of artwork and printing techniques, screen printing offers many benefits that other imprint methods don’t have.
Application
Screenprinting offers a wide range of versatility, in the sense that it can be used with numerous fabric materials. The inks can be combined with additives to soften the ink for a smoother hand feel or help cure the inks at a lower temperature for the delicate fabrics. Cotton is the choice of preference, however polyester and tri-blends can also be printed using this method.
